What is Wireless Networking?
Wireless networking allows computers to talk to each other and the Internet without the need to connect them together with cabling.

How does it work?
Devices known as AP's (Access Points) convert the ethernet signal used in LANs (Local Area Networks) to radio frequencies that can be transmitted through the air. At the desktop, an SA (Station Adapter) is used to convert the radio signals back to the standard ethernet signal.

Where is it available?
pro.NET has deployed a point of presence in the Richmond area. pro.NET will soon be able to cover a large portion of the lower mainland.

When can I get it?
Delivery of wireless Internet access in our service region usually happens within two weeks of sign up.
